Ritmo is the trading name of this online store. DANCEWORLD INDUSTRIA DE CALÇADO LDA is the company that operates it and the party you enter into a contract with when you place an order. Invoices, returns and any legal claim are all against that company.

Soft-soled dance shoes and indoor slippers: ballet flats, jazz shoes, latin and ballroom shoes with heels between 25 and 75 mm, contemporary half soles and foot pads, practice slippers, and a small number of care items. Forty products, priced between $12 and $188, sold as one-off purchases in US dollars.

We do not sell pointe shoes, outdoor footwear, any product marketed for a medical or protective purpose, or anything on a subscription.

Prices are shown in USD. Portuguese VAT (IVA) at the standard rate of 23% applies to deliveries within Portugal and is included in the price shown. For deliveries outside Portugal the tax treatment depends on the destination and is calculated before payment.

Deliveries outside the European Union may attract import duty and local tax on arrival. Those charges are set by the destination country, are payable by the recipient, and are not something we collect or control.

Three routes are open to you, and using one does not close the others.

Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico. Portugal's electronic complaints book, available at livroreclamacoes.pt. A complaint filed there is answered within 15 working days and forwarded to the competent authority.

Alternative dispute resolution (RAL). Consumers may refer a dispute to the alternative dispute resolution body competent for our registered seat. Entity name and website pending — we are confirming which body has jurisdiction for Vila Nova de Gaia and will name it here with its address and website. Until it is named here, we will identify it on request by email within one working day.

The Portuguese enforcement authorities for consumer matters are the Direção-Geral do Consumidor (DGC) and ASAE.

Portuguese law governs the contract, including Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021 on the conformity of goods, Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014 on distance contracts, and the applicable EU consumer legislation. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you keep the protection of any mandatory rule of your own country that gives you more.
